Week 2 Picture Post

Here are some more photos of things I've done, which can also act as proof that I'm actually in China for those of you who don't believe me...

One of the many fun foods to eat around here: Octopus! This stuff is great.

And if little Krakens aren't for you, maybe the fried cheese is more your speed

Even potato chips are way cooler here

Prawn chips are also cool and friendly. Cheap too! About $0.13

Some of the kids I taught at the first camp. I also ate lunch with them every day.

Me, some of the 2nd graders, and Steven, one of the employees at Bosskids camp

Talent show time with the kindergarteners

Laura gets brave and travels Chinese style on a moped with our friend James

This is where we did "KTV" Karaoke

Everyone is so safety conscious, even the microphones wear condoms!

KTV pose.

Literally the first human being I've seen in Seven Star Lake. I think he was fishing. There are signs all over that say don't go in the water, but none of the locals can tell me why it's forbidden.

Some nice pictures of the Seven Star Crag, the rock formation the lake is named after

NOW TIME FOR MORE FUN SIGNS

There's a jewelry store here named Gringotts. LIKE THE WIZARD BANK

heheheheheheheheheh

Oh yeah this makes perfect sense, thanks

This store is pronounced like a funny word

This photography company has a funny website. I've since learned that "gd" stands for Guangdong, which is the province we live in. But I'll still go around saying GODDAMN FATE, thank you very much

Until next time, have a nice shopping everyone!
